Licence and Acceptable Use Policy

This Policy governs every Prompt Me Better prompt pack, PDF, database, template, reference set and related download unless the product page or a signed licence expressly provides different terms. The licensor is Butiko LLC, trading as Prompt Me Better.

1. Ownership and licence

The source Product is licensed, not sold. We retain ownership of the original source materials and all rights not expressly granted. Subject to full payment and compliance with this Policy, the purchaser receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence for one named purchaser.

2. Permitted use

The licensed user may:

• download and use the Product for lawful personal and internal business projects;
• edit and adapt individual prompts for their own projects;
• use prompts with compatible AI tools to create images, video, text or other outputs;
• use generated outputs in their own ecommerce, advertising, websites, social media, presentations, packaging concepts and client work; and
• deliver final generated outputs to a client, subject to applicable law, third-party rights and the AI provider's terms.

Client-work permission does not allow delivery of the source prompt library, database, PDF, editable template or reusable prompt text to the client.

3. Prohibited distribution and competition

You must not:

• resell, redistribute, upload, publish, share, sublicense, rent, lend or give away the source Product;
• allow more people to access it than the purchased licence permits;
• place it in a public repository, membership, course, shared drive, team workspace, marketplace, software feature or prompt library;
• sell or distribute the prompts as prompts, templates, databases, ebooks, guides or downloadable resources;
• distribute a translated, reformatted, lightly edited or substantially similar version;
• use the Product or a systematic extraction from it to create, train or populate a competing prompt pack, generator or database;
• remove rights, licence or ownership notices;
• bypass download, seat or access controls; or
• claim authorship or exclusive ownership of the source Product.

4. Teams and agencies

A separate multi-seat, team or agency licence is required if more users need access to source materials than the purchased tier permits. The number of prompts in a 20, 50, 100 or 250 prompt variant is the amount of content, not the number of licensed users.

5. Generated outputs

We do not claim ownership of an output solely because a Prompt Me Better prompt was used. However, laws and AI-provider terms determine whether an output can be owned, protected, registered or used commercially. Outputs may not be unique, and other users may create similar results. We do not guarantee non-infringement, copyright eligibility, trademark clearance or exclusivity.

You are responsible for human review, factual verification, consent for any person's image or data, intellectual-property clearance, advertising substantiation, sector-specific compliance and required AI or advertising disclosures.

6. Sample and reference assets

Unless a product page expressly states that an asset is included with defined reuse rights, previews, reference photographs, model images, mockups, layouts and sample outputs are view/inspiration material only. They may not be uploaded to an AI service, extracted, redistributed or used as standalone stock assets. Where a product page expressly grants permission to use a supplied reference as AI input, that permission is limited to generating outputs under the purchased licence and does not permit sharing or redistribution of the reference. You must have sufficient rights to any other reference material you upload to an AI service.

7. Responsible use

You must not use the Product to create or distribute unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, defamatory, exploitative, discriminatory, dangerous or materially deceptive content. Prohibited uses include fake customer reviews or endorsements, non-consensual intimate imagery, harmful deepfakes, impersonation used to deceive, sexual exploitation, content exploiting minors, fraudulent documents, malware and unlawful discrimination.

8. Third-party services

AI tools and other third-party services are not included unless expressly stated. You must comply with their terms, policies and technical restrictions. A later platform change does not expand this licence or guarantee continued compatibility.

9. Duration and termination

The licence continues for as long as the purchaser complies with it, subject to any fixed access or licence term displayed at purchase. If a material breach is capable of correction, we may give a reasonable opportunity to cure it. For an uncured or serious breach, the licence ends and the purchaser must stop using and delete the source Product.

Termination does not affect accrued payment obligations, rights in lawfully delivered final client outputs created before termination or mandatory consumer rights.

10. No guaranteed result

Prompts are creative instructions. Results vary by provider, model version, configuration, input material, editing and randomness. No particular output, commercial result, platform approval, uniqueness, intellectual-property protection or regulatory compliance is promised.

11. Enforcement and contact

Unauthorized distribution may cause harm that is difficult to quantify. We may use lawful technical and legal measures to protect the source Product. This does not permit unfair, disproportionate or unlawful enforcement and does not remove any mandatory defence or remedy.
